Wacom launches sign pro PDF Enterprise for iOS and Android Providing both App and API for System Plug-in

May 12, 2016 (Tokyo, Japan) – Broadening its reach in the global electronic signature market, Wacom Co, Ltd announced it will add the sign pro PDF Enterprise App and sign pro PDF Enterprise API (Application Programming Interface) to its sign pro PDF family for iOS and Android. sign pro PDF Enterprise enables large and medium-sized businesses to enjoy the benefits of an efficient, cost-effective and paperless signature solution, which helps users easily create and implement electronic signature or annotation, and authorize documents. 

The sign pro PDF Enterprise App is a standalone electronic handwritten signature application for enterprise users. The sign pro PDF Enterprise API for iOS and Android is a programming interface with instructions to readily plug-in sign pro PDF to a user’s custom applications and systems. By using this API, electronic handwritten signature and annotation features for PDF documents can be implemented in a user’s system. The API also makes it possible to sign with eSeals and fully supports the ISO standard.

Businesses in industries such as banking and finance, repair service, rental or delivery services and tourism can now easily integrate the sign pro PDF Enterprise App or API into their existing workflow.

After signing with sign pro PDF Enterprise, the documents are locked and protected via a cryptographic hash to prevent fraud.

In situations where the security aspect is specifically important, Wacom’s active styli, e.g. the Bamboo Fineline 2, will be an ideal companion because biometric information such as pen pressure, writing speed, date and time of signing can be captured and stored.

The sign pro PDF Enterprise App and API for iOS and Android are not confined to a single operating system. Annotations and sticky notes on the document can be edited across different OS devices before signing. Since sign pro PDF works offline, users do not need an internet connection or a sign-up procedure to sign and fill in digital forms or make annotation on a document.
