January 22, 2021 (Tokyo, Japan) – Wacom Co, Ltd., announced that its long-revered digital pen technology has been adopted by Samsung Electronics’ Galaxy S21 Ultra, for the first time in the history of the Galaxy “S series”, taking its productivity and creativity even higher. Branded “S Pen” by Samsung, Wacom’s pen technology has been powering the digital pens of the Galaxy Note series since 2011, with it now expanding into the Galaxy S series.

Available as an option for the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the S Pen lets you do so many tasks intuitively and efficiently, from drawing, note-taking, editing photos and signing documents. It puts breath-taking precision at your fingertips and offers the realistic pen-on-paper experience.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra also works effortlessly with third-party digital pens using the Wacom technology. Digital pens from Mitsubishi Pencil (Hi-uni DIGITAL for Wacom) STAEDTLER (Noris Digital) and LAMY (AL-star black EMR), as well as the pen for 13 inch creative pen display “Wacom One,” are compatible with the Galaxy S21 Ultra, widening the choices for those looking for each product’s unique usability combined with a contemporary look and feel.
The Galaxy S21 Ultra with the S Pen (optional) will be available starting from January 29, 2021.
